1. Write a useful ingredient brief
Name the INCI or target function, finished format, destination market, target launch date, expected annual demand and required documents. This prevents a generic sample from starting the wrong evaluation path.
2. Screen the grade before shipping
Review the specification, TDS and SDS before accepting a sample. Confirm physical form, concentration basis and whether the sample represents the intended commercial grade.
3. Evaluate in the real base
Test the active in the intended formula and packaging. Record the lot, addition stage, process conditions and any visual or analytical changes so results are reproducible.
4. Complete cross-functional approval
R&D confirms performance and stability; QA approves specification and supplier controls; regulatory reviews status and claims; procurement confirms cost, MOQ, lead time and logistics.
5. Reconnect approval to the shipment
Before purchase, verify that the production offer matches the approved grade and active basis. Review the actual batch COA, pack size, labeling, storage, shipment documents and change-notification expectations.
